Gundog plays Paralowie

Postby gundog » Fri Mar 27, 2009 7:52 pm

I had to go to the big smoke on business today thats the down side, the up side is I decided to play at Paralowie tonight.

Ist Impressions are lasting impressions everyone is extremely friendly and you are made to feel most welcome, stamping poilcy is excellent with 20 minutes before the game starts I am fully stamped up after a couple of TEDS and a feed for around 12 bucks.

For those who have never visited this venue I can highly reccommend it, so if your at a loose end on a friday night come on down and support a local community sporting club.

A report on my performance to come later.

From the very start the banter was excellent hand 1 I loose my first 1000 to a bigger kicker, cash my first card in, 2nd hand I redeemed my lost 1000 plus a few hundreds more.

During the 1st session I build a reasonable chip stack, during the 2nd session during the 1st 2 blind levels I managed to add to my stack, however things started to unravel during the 300/600 blind level, leaving me with 7500, for the final session.

The final session eventually we were down to 2 tables I tried to make a move and that was my lot out at 12th.

I would have to say this was one of the most enjoyable nights of poker in a very long time, I was made to feel most welcome and on my departure both the TD and many players were quick to shake my hand and say thanks for comming, hope to see you again.

The Paralowie Sport and Social Club will see me play again when ever I'm in Adelaide on a friday night, so all you metro players get on down there and support a fantastic little club.
