Nirvana were so overrated.
I am not a fan of Pearl Jam either but they do have some songs which I like - Alive is def one of them. I have noticed that people who do like them, REALLY like them, and are passionate about them.

Pearlers - My wife Nicole's fav band. We have seen them live 3 times.
She has about 30 or more albums of theirs (a lot of bootlegs).
For me, my fav songs of theirs are probably "Even Flow" and "Alive", and the video clip for "Evolution Baby" has to be one of the all-time best IMO
Although i like all their songs, i find "Black" and "Last Kiss" deeply depressing. (awesome songs, they just dont make me feel great after i hear them)
The soundtrack to "Into the Wild" by Eddie is all class too. Haunting even.

I remember thinking the exact same thing when Last Kiss was released, Toddy.
I do like the Pearl Jam: Live at the Garden DVD, in particular the moment when Mark Seymour comes out to play "Throw your arms around me" with Eddie.
