For starters bigpete, my email address has someone been attached to spam networks since singing up for this site, thus i have no trust for this site. to use auto sign in cookies must be stored as you know, cookies are unsafe and I do not use them, infact earlier version of phpbb the forum in which we are using stored private information in cookies which then becomes available for any other web application i visit. I have not checked the latest for this software but im not gonna trust it.

You want a headache for Dez, jump on to youtube guys and type in hacking phpbb forum... 5 min and you can all be an admin... enjoy guys

Despite the above post - the current PHPBB is FAR more secure than previous flakey versions (of which I didn't even like myself).

And your email addresses ARE safe.
