just wanted to ask a question about the $50 5k guaranteed deep stack tourney

can you buy in for the $50 if you dont actually qualify via the CBI tournaments? i dont plan on playing many of these games but would love to be involved in a deep stack event

At the end of Season 2 NPL will host a $10,000 Guaranteed invitational event open to all CBI qualifiers and those invited to buy into this event.

Can you clarify what is meant by "invited"?

Only that selected players and celebrities who have not qualified for this event (via the CBI regular events) but have showed some great performances over time will be invited to buy into this event as selected by NPL management.

oh ok just dont know why they are advertising it as a $50 5k guaranteed, gives the impression you are winning a free entry ticket into a tournament that all players can attend

hopefully one day NPL can offer a championship weekend with tournaments with a $50 - $100 buy in deep stack, now that would be awesome

Hi Steve,

We can invite certain players to buy into this event if their performance over the season dictates that they are worthy of an entry. Or for various other reasons as to allow certain celebrities to partake in this event. Not sure if I like the later. But definitely like the resource to invite unqualified players to buy in to this event. Perhaps we could promote the forum in this manner by allowing certain contributors to events or run a promotion on here.

Over the next few seasons we will be offering once per month special events, elevated buy ins and definitely a more relaxed structure with a larger start bank than currently offered in our regular tournaments. But a two day event is off the grid and planned for something else.

Lots coming up over the coming months and I am sure it will be information overload for players.
