WHere did you download the 888 software from benny the cunt?

i already have an account and i already downloaded from the 888 website

i uninstalled that and tried via the link on the npl website, but thats when i started having issues with trend calling it adware. although i think it works on my laptop, so i can play from there at this stage.

so i have to create a new account? if so, thats all good, i just thought that my username would get added to the list of allowed usernames

Create a new account using the 888PL downloads. This will create a tracking serial in your registry (hence why anti viral software picks it up) and then you will be able to play 888PL events.

lol ill have to come up with something.

another question i have

i read somewhere that the freeroll online games have a $50 prize pool. is this for all games?

what is the payout structure? is it all for top 1 or 3, or is it distributed between the top 15 points getters for a small payout (i think this is the better way to go)

IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE READ THIS!!!

i was having trouble with the software. i had it installed already, which meant that it would not let me register for the 888pl games with my current username.

so i tried to reinstall from the 888pl website, but that corrupted the installation, and from that point on i could not see any cards on the table!!! but now i have worked out a surefire way to get the software installed and you playing 888pl games.

1. if you already have pacificpoker installed, go to control panel and remove programs and uninstall it.

2. *IMPORTANT* now that you have uninstalled it, go to c:/Program Files, and find the pacific poker folder, which will be left over from your uninstall. DELETE IT

3. *IMPORTANT* there will also be a pacific poker folder in your "My Documents" folder, or on vista its just "Documents" DELETE IT

4. now your machine is completely free of the software. remember to do steps 2 and 3 or else the new installation might get corrupted like it did for me.

5. go to 888pl.com.au and install from a link from there. DO NOT TRY THE LINK FROM THE EMAIL, apparently it doesn't work

6. create a new account. this one will now be linked to the 888pl and it should all work fine

if you follow these steps you should get an account up and running fine. but remember to delete the folders after you have uninstalled, that was the thing that made it work for me

Does your options window show up now or is it still tiny?
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!
