i've got a 17in now, and it isn't too portable - i'll taking it away with me next month, and I'm kind of dreading it! 3.8kg I think - flies along, but physically a little clunky. Dell Precision M6400. Guess what I'm saying is, don't be too seduced by 17in until you try it.

I just bought that one off Zazz.

Normally I'm as fussy as a fusspot in a fusspots convention but that's nice and cheap and will do nicely for what I want it for.

Got the extra RAM for $49 to bring it up to a reasonable minimum spec.
