Just adding another gripe about 888.com, had a strange thing in the $3 game last night:
this was ALL preflop:
I raise, SB flat called, then BB reraises (everyone elswe had folded before my raise), but the software only gave me the option of Call or Fold???

Why the heck couldn't I reraise again here?

BB's all-in might not have been a full raise, thus betting isnt re-opened... thus you can only call.

ie.

200/400

You raise to 800
SB calls for 600 more
BB raises 100 to 900

Betting isnt reopened to you in this case.

Also, in regard to HH software I was gonna write... this site doesnt even put mucked showdown cards in the HH file, so it won't work, sorry folks.

Sry, wrong about SB BB, was thinkin different hand. (not had much sleep when I posted originally )
I trawled through the HH file to find the hand (long file when u place 2nd!)
There WAS an allin, but the caller (before me) was NOT allin, so why couldnt I reraise him?
Just cos a shove isnt a full raise, why doesnt that allow other live players to raise? Ive never heard that rule before

[Edit: Why does only the last card on any line with cards show the icon for that card? I thought it might be the comma after previous cards on the line, but put in a space to no effect]

Just thinking about it, Ive seen (on another site) 3 pushes over the top of an UTG shove (and each other, successively) and similar things live.

I mean, u won't often have multi allins unless you can reraise again??

Which makes me think of another thing lacking in 888.com (PacificPoker whatever) software, the HH sucks! Not even a hand summary, total pot, anything of any REAL use.
I'd love to see what PT could(nt) do with it!

If a player moves in for less than 50% of a raise this does not reopen the betting for players, unless they are yet to act.

So in your example a player has moved all in and has not completed the raise or has not raised for at least 50% of the minimum raise. This does not re open the betting for those still involved in the hand.

The only option here is to call or fold. This is a rule of poker and is quite often enforced on all poker sites. Especially the big ones.

Just had the situation where I bet enough to put a player allin and they called.

Cards don't get immediately turned over and I had to check on the next card (despite there being nothing further to actually happen) in order for the hands to be shown.
