best hand I got was pocket 2's on my dealing hit F/House 2,5 ,5 on the flop and won chips.

most memorable hand holding [xah] [qxh]
flop [8x] [kxd] [jxd]
turn [2xs]
river [9xd]

HU betting leads to me folding as caller bets half my meger stack
.. he shows A ,Q o

best outcome would have been split pot..

pretty average i know nothing spectacular all day 4 me.
[ it took me one blind level 300/600 over half an hour to get a card better than a Q.].

Dont really have a bad beat from my run

Unless you call calling a shortstacks all in with 10 10 and having him hit his ace on the flop ( he had ace 7), but really thats pretty standard, but it was actually the worst beat i took up untill i went out 4hrs later when i ran my k 9 into kq after a king came on the flop.

I got bluffed Once( that i am aware of) had [ 3d 3c] from the big blind 1 caller i check, blinds were 200-400 i think.
flop came [ks 9s 3h] i bet out with 800, he calls
turn [10s], i check he checks
river [as] i check and he bets 2000, i open muck my set and he shows me [kh jh]
pretty good bet from him so no dissapointment there.

My best hand as you have already heard was the royal

blinds were 250-500 i had around 10k, i get [kd qd] from the small blind and raise to 1500, the cutoff calls.
flop comes [ad 10d 6h] i bet 3000 trying to end it there and my opponent calls.

the magical turn was [jd], at this point you can imagine i had 1 million different ideas going through my head, least of which was the fact i still had to get my opponents money in the pot.

I decide to try and act weak and i bet 1000, like a defensive bet now the flush and straights are forming, he calls pretty quickly.

the river was [3c], but at this point i do remember quickly flashing my cards for garth to see, then decided it was now or never and pushed in for my remaining 3900, my opponent tanked for ages and i actually thought he was goint to fold, i spent the entire time thinking ive stuffed this and then thought if he does fold should i show or should i muck the cards, knowing that garth had seen them and he would back me up on the forum i decided i was going to muck them if he folded.

Fortunatley he didnt he called.

The best sound in the world is the 2 seconds of silence you get when you roll your cards knowing you have a royal and you wait for everyone else to register that its a royal, it took a breif moment then the whole table erupted as did the venue when nathan anounced the cards.

If you could bottle that feeling you would make a mint, but i think bennys bottle would taste better.

To be honest, my whole game was a disaster from start to finish.
I am not sure if this is a bad beat or just really bad luck but it was against a girl I have played against out this way.

Small blind
Had AK
UTG limped in
Fold all the way around..

Raised to 3-4x blind..
BB called
UTG called

Board came out with King high
I put in another 600, BB folded, UTG called
Turn nothing
I put in 600, she reraised and then I realised she probably has the damn straight.

She ended up playing 57s and getting the straight.

I guess it always comes down to learning how to push a chaser/calling station off the pot.

I was gutted, but got AKs next hand, went all in, all folded.. LOL
It just went downhill from there.

I must start out saying I had a great weekend, also putting faces to other forum scribes

The day started out looking like being a complete disaster what ever hand I played during the first two blind levels just didn't seem to connect, I was down to 3125 and decided to tighten up and try and get a read on the table.

Well in to the 3rd blind level the cards turned I was able to build a reasonable stack, buy playing premium and stone cold bluffs. During this period I had a player directly opposite me on my BB he would over bet or shove, one had I had a brain fart, again on my BB he shoves all in for 2100, every one fold around to me. I tanked it for a bit counting my stack, thinking I'm sick of this plick trying cheap steals on my blind. I eventually look at my cards [jc] [9c] which is in my range of playable cards so I call everyone else folds. Showdown instigator shows A 10 off the flop and turn no help, thankfully I hit a 9 on the river, I shake his hand 1 down, In the process during the 1st session I see off 2 more players. End of session just less than 10g in the stack.

2nd session shortly after our table is broken up, during the move I decide to start at this playing loose aggressive, it pay off winning the 1st 5 hands in a row, my stack is a bit over 30g now, a few hands later I'm dealt [ah] [kh], I call from UTG there are a few more players calling, the flop is [jh] [9h] 10? 1st 2 check, I bet 4000 everyone folds except the player on my right he raises to 8000 I make a snap all in shove. My opponent tanks it what seems like forever, he is in two minds wether to call or fold eventually he folds and shows a ten, I rake in a big pot.

Very next hand I'm dealt big slick off suit, I'm BB UTG calls +1 calls +2 raises to 6000, everyone else folds, I raise to 15000, UTG fold +1 Calls in all in for bit over 10000, +2 calls with the remainder of his stack which is 25 more than my bet. Showdown +1 A Q off +2 pocket 10's Me A K off, end result I drop 15025, AQ wins main pot with flush and the wired 10’s takes the side pot.

The table I’m on is broken up again and the table I join has to players with mega stacks, 1st hand again results in a win for me, I win 1 other hand before the 2nd break leaving me with about 40k.

On returning from the break, Blinds and a couple losses leave me with about 26k when the table is broken, on joining my new table at BB+1 I look at pocket 10’s I just call, the play returns to the BB who shoves for about 12k after showing his cards 8 9 off to UTG and spectators, I haven’t really settled into the table when I’m under pressure to call a big raise, I call as I do this imbecile announces I have gone all in because I want to play the Teams event, thing go from bad to worse he hits a straight on the turn I’m drawing dead but hit a 10 on the river for a set. I’m crippled.

Without a question of doubt this would have to the worst table I have played on in a championship event, rabbiting, 2 players always stalling placing ante’s and spending more time talking to spectators, it was doing my head in a trip around the table sees the non thinking player go all in again to go play the teams event thankfully he got smashed by a pair of Pocket A’s.

On the move again getting very SS about 6000, when I’m dealt pocket J’s I shove and get 2 callers, I triple up, I think I’m in with a chance to rebuild, a couple of blinds go by and I get a pair of Butchers hooks again, a mid position player pushes all in he has 700 more than me I call he shows KJ and hits a king on the flop that my day done and dusted.

Overall I’m happy with the way I played, just angry with myself for letting non thinking players get under my skin.

Alas the non thinking player was a B & G'er

did you alert a tc (thats right captains now :P)?

if there was rabbiting in a championship event, surely they would get time penalties if only you had alerted the floor staff

Gundog dont forget you broke the rules too mate

i saw you put your chips in your hat and carry them to the next table, i dont care if the TC turned a blind eye, which he did.

you took a big risk, i dont know how many times we were told on the day.

I said the same thing to a bloke who was using a phone at the table, somebody will be made an example of and it might just be you.

Why not just follow the instructions given.
