$25,000 Foundation Semi Final
I thought I read on this forum board that you could see who had already qualified for this? If so then where can I find it?
Please note that I am NOT the World Champ, Australian Champ, SA champ or even the Adelaide Hills champ so any advice I give must be taken with tonne of salt

Re: $25,000 Foundation Semi Final
Its my understanding that nobody has qualified for this yet?
As this event is essentially replacing the champs main event, then we will only know that at the completion of this season. The satellite qualifiers and freerolls are for the 888pl Grand Final (which is at the end of the year i believe). There have been people qualify for this already, but im not sure if there is a list yet (this may be what you are asking).

Yep, that's what I was wondering.
I won a tournament last Saturday night that said that I qualified for this but I wish to double check to make sure I have my facts right.
If I have qualified then I wish to spend my limited time trying to qualify for the other semi final (I have a new born baby at home so time is limited

Re: $25,000 Foundation Semi Final
im looking at the text for the sunday free roll deepstack and it states
Winners recieve entry into the 888pl 25k foundation away (offline) semi final
so that suggests to me that there would be at least 5 already qualified seeing we are about 5 sunday deepstack in

Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

OK cool. i guess there will be a list somewhere. but instead of updating it every week on the forum or website they will just release it at the end of the season i guess. So don't stress phantom, they wont change the rules for qualification half way through the season.

I cant blame you
this is the old NPL main event, and its a cracker, there didnt used to be too many extra ways to qualify out side coming top 5 at a venue, although there was a few- Just ask BennyMaca.
so if you can satelite in with 1 online win as well as grab a heap of points good on you, good luck when it comes around.

Krunchie, it's not the old Main Event.
This is a Semi Final, which wins into the Grand Final (which was the Main Event).

I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

Re: $25,000 Foundation Semi Final
i disagree bacon, the old main event has been replaced by a semi final both worth 25k and both qualified into by the same old means, plus a few new extra ones as mentioned above.
The new grand final is an all new event that bares no similarities to the old Main event, as its worth a heap more and is qualified into by completely new means, you cant just walk into this one by playing at a venue.
