Ryan Nelson.

But yeah, saw the highlights of NV versus Spain in the confederations cup. Tores had a hatrick inside 20 minutes and they lost 5-0. spain are the best side in the world though.

yeah spain are the best in the world, completely dominated euro 2008 but not always the best team wins the world cup

i.e. Italy, they got dominated by France in that Final

They also got dominated in the round of 16, and only got through that game because of one of the greatest umpiring atrocities of all time
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

i wouldnt say that australia dominated, italy had a sh*t load of chances, lucas neill should not of slid in the box though

it was a bullsh*t decision but you can see what the ref was thinking

I would say Australia dominated, but not until late in the 2nd half where we looked much stronger fitness wise and were yet to make a sub.

There's no excuse for that call being made, despite Lucas Neil incorrectly going to ground.

You have to actually make contact for it to be a penalty.

Even Sepp Blatter apologised, on camera, for that call.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

are you sure you were watching the same game steve

By the end of that game there was only 1 team trying to win and if it did go to extra time i firmly belive we would have won.

As pete stated, by the end of that game we were stronger and fitter and we were dominating.

Yes lucas Neil took a masive gamble but that was a shocking decison, he slid in but was completely stationary at the point of contact, he was laying prone on the ground as a imobile obstacle, it was a shocking decison that galvanised the thoughts of the australian public that soccer is a girls game that can be won by cheats ( divers ), which isnt fair because i love the game and its beautiful when played well.

yeah i know it was the wrong decision, just saying i could sort of see why the ref did make that call

Along with Italians everywhere, you're about the only person who thinks that.

I always thought it looked like he motioned up with his arm when the Italian went over him - like a trip. Could have been the angle or many things, but I always thought the call was 50/50 (based on my *very* limited understanding)
