That is without doubt one of the finest football memories I have.

Still one of the best games of football anyone is ever likely to see.

Thats scary pete i knew you were going to pull me up on the date, i relate to the 25th more as my first child ( owen ) was born that day then within a few hours we had our 5th star.

I also still have scotch stains on the roof of my entertainment area from a party for the FA cup final, when we won the shoot out i sprayed everyone with my scotch can, the cola stain is still on the roof lol
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

HAHAHAHA nice work mate :)

I had a close call with the top of my head and the ceiling as John Aloisi scored the penalty to put Australia into the World Cup last time around.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

I feel sorry for anyone else who was on Milner Road just seconds after that.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

I remember being in a mates loungeroom when we qualified for the world cup. During the shootout we were all standing, arm in arm (as the rest if the players do in the centre of the gorund) chanting "schwarzer" "schwarzer", and when he saved those penalties we went ballistic. So much so that a mate got elbowed in the face during the celarbrations, almost breaking his nose but causing it to bleed a lot.

He didn't care, and we were jealous because he had "bled for his country". Then we went outside at midnight (or whatever it was) and played soccer till about 2am by the light of one little 60 watt globe on his back porch.

Thats what that moment did for this country.

I knew someone who lived on Milner Road. Messy messy parties there.
