Postby gundog » Wed Jul 01, 2009 10:28 am

Spoiler:

Without any more information I snap call.

Especially with a 5BB stack in an 888PL free roll.

I call. But I can't see myself getting to a final table, so all good.

I'm in an EV freefall.

Having played against these 2 players on many occasions i can saftely say

CALL. CALL. CALL.

C'mon gundog you know both these guys are shoving with any single paint on the final table.

Saying that you did play it safe and decided not to race and as it turns out that worked because you went on to win so I dont think you should worry about this hand too much.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

dont worry about results krunchie, its about making correct decisions. he could have got his aces cracked next hand as well, its irrelevant.

i don't mind the fold here, although i probably would hvae called. but how many times do you see AK vs AQ vs JJ and the jacks hold here.

I agree with you benny the cunt.
technically the fold was correct, you should be folding your AK to 2 all in shoves in front of you, but seeing this is a turbo, the call would have been a correct move also.

speaking of JJ though, i went out in 15th last night when i shoved all in for my 2600
( big blind 600) with JJ from UTG, got called by 2 mid positon players.

turns out they had A4 and AJ :x

flop came A 4 x and that was my night done.

Pretty standard IMO

More results orientated garbage. When will you guys stop making comments like:

Gundog you made the wrong play, against their shoving ranges and the hand strength you have as well as the stack sizes of yourself and opponents in relation to blind size, it's a snap call.

It didn't work! You can't and shouldn't lay down there unless your read is screaming out AA or KK.
