I need to upgrade my anti-virus software... in fact, I'm not sure if I actually have a valid one on my computer. What products do you guys use?
Normally, I'd go Norton's, but dunno if this is best now.
Any help??

Re: AVS
you pretty much get what you pay for - obviously the bigger ones like norton, mcafee and trend are going to be better than free ones.
but avg is an ok free solution. if you dont have any on there right now, download it this second dude.

Re: AVS
Kaspersky FTW..
Great antivirus, firewall, etc etc.
Extremely popular and a low footprint so it doesn't churn like Nortons et al.

Re: AVS
oh ... my... god
If it's free and you think it's good, there's something wrong with you (no, really!)
AVG and Nortons are complete buckets of poo. Do not use them. EVER.
Trend is okish.
McAfee is okish but I know (because I used to use it) that it completely hogs system resources and therefore lowers the performance of your pc too much.
Kaspersky is the best by a long shot. Is also easy to use. Well worth paying for.

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!
