i thought this was an interesting question.
vote above and give your reasoning
Game $1/2, effective stacks 200
In your six-max game online it's folded to you on the button and you raise to $6 with [8s] [9s]. The small blind folds and the aggressive big blind raises to $22. This is the third time he has three-bet you in this spot this session so you make the call. The flop comes [Kh 4s 5s]. The big blind bets $30.
what should you do?

Flat the flop.
I call and take control on the turn.
The turn can give me so many more options to extract maximum value or to get away from a non made hand.

Re: Poker Question July 13th
my initial thoughts are
get fked idiot, and i snap jam here.
if he has 3bet pre 3 times in the session, his range is pretty huge. on that flop, he continuing with pretty much all of his range
shove his Ace-9 right up his arse and make him fold here. if by some chance he does have a hand, then you have outs.
bennyjams ftw
if he double barrels here, you wont have much in the way of fold equity - a call makes it a 104 pot, with 150 odd behind. so if he leads for 50-80, you probably have to fold.

lol Muzz.
I shove here, for the same reasons benny the cunt mentioned. I would prefer a call, but we're not deep enough for that. Garth is right though, that is the best way to get maximum value.

Re: Poker Question July 13th
He bets $30 into a $45 pot, so you're getting 1.5-1 if you call. Let's assume that if you hit the flush then you're good and the odds of hitting the flush is 2-1. Mathematically, you should fold.
Given his agressive style probably not bad to flat and see what happens on the turn. If he leads on the turn and you haven't made your flush then fold as he probably has the K. If he checks the turn then bet the pot.

you think that he would only bet if he has hit a king?
