I actually really like Pete's shove - how often do you lead with an Ace here?

And how good is it if you're limp/calling.

Didn't you say you wouldn't do that in that situation AJG?

I could be wrong there though and thinking of something else.........

But yeah, was convinced you didn't have an ace and I didn't think you'd be doing that with a hand like 66 after having only seen me raise with reasonable hands previously. Actually, I just flat out didn't consider you would have 66.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

If thats said to me, I never claimed them as bad beats... In fact theres no sucking there at all except in the second hand hitting a 2 outer...

@Pete, I said I would think very hard before doing it yes, hence my comment of 'atleast no one can accuse me of not listening to replies to hands I post'. Thats what I meant. I was an easier call to make after that hand discussion...

Fair enough.

It was unlucky post flop. Not sure I like the calling of a raise with 66 though, but that's just me.

Not knowing hand histories, I probably would've called there too, thinking you might be stealing from the button. And would be easy to get away from post-flop if I didn't hit.

But then, I'm a LBW player.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

With the flush draw, 90% of the time Im leading on that flop with an Ace. But I would also leadout reasonably often if I missed to... I take it you are saying my leadout looked like a c-bet or something?

And yeah Pete, that was what happened in the hand where I flopped top 2 pair on AK6... Never even entered my head that opponent had 66...

Arent you one of the people who said that was standard in the other thread I started? Sorry if Im wrong, but that was exactly my original thinking to, but when I posted the hand, all seeemed to think that was good play?

Yes, with your stack size, and a button open raise, I put u on a fairly wide range....

You certainly are bacon :)

Prior to that point the only hands I'd shown (if any..) were reasonable hands that were certainly raise worthy, position not withstanding.

I wouldn't say it's unfair to think of it as a position raise but it's also not unfair to be worried about what I was raising with. That stack didn't magic itself up :)

Which other thread AJG? It's not that often I'll bother to comment on a hand discussion. Usually I just don't care :)

You did post in the thread, but not about the hand. You even locked it!
