Seriously... if I read one more response to a bad beat as 'standard'....
What BS.

More to the point, if thats all you have to say... don't bother.
Contribute something useful or keep your 'standard' to yourselves...

Ahhh.. So thats what is 'Standard'? or the shove on an OESD?
And as my read was correct I was ahead when I did...

Again, anything actually constructive to say?

Not complaining at losing the hand, although I did at the time, just people who post meaningless responses... Oops did I forget to mention I came back to 2nd?

OF COURSE, CALLING A PUSH WHEN U THINK ITS A SEMIBLUFF (AND YOU'RE RIGHT) IS WRONG
OF COURSE, YOU CAN ALL TELL FROM A SINGLE HAND ITS A BAD PLAY...

Sure, lets just all post hands we win from play to perfection...

Is a serious response too much to ask?

I only posted cos of the WAY I lost the hand....
Say what u like, but runner runner diamonds is a beat...

I actually don't think there is much to discuss about this hand = You got it in goot and he drew out on you; your read was correct.

Points about about this hand that you can discuss if you really wish to break it down:

1.) Raise on the button to isolate w. marginal holdings, but you do retain position?
2.) Read on opponent - especially pre flop?
3.) Could pre flop raise have been greater instead of standard 3x?
4.) Flop bet really looks like a missed c bet, I have no history or stats on how you are playing, but just over half the pot in position smells ugly.
5.) Flop bet has made opponent spew, HUGE overshove, what do you do?

Next time AJG, don't post the result.

Instead post to the point where a decision needs to be made. This will really get them thinking and responding rather than discussing the beat.
