Good Poker Articles

Postby bennymacca » Thu Jul 02, 2009 2:26 pm

post your links to good poker articles here. post ones that you have read and got something out of, rather than just posting a whole archive of threads from 2+2. post individual ones instead

i found these were really good - i think the biggest leak in my game at the moment is losing too much in big pots

also, we have been talking about being results oriented lately. this is a good article on that sort of stuff

Why is that specifically aimed at me?
I have, in other threads, explained why I sometimes will keep a shortstack alive on the bubble, but that doesnt mean I always do. So as per the article, I do (imo) have a good reason for folding when getting 2:1+...
And the times I do keep alive a shortstack, I dont do so indefinitely, ie let another player knock them out, i am often the one who does call their shove and bust them.
(Had read it before, but reread again)

in other threads, you were sprouting (wrong) theory about keeping the short stacks alive. that article was referring to your previous posts.

that was an old post aaron, are you looking to get that debate going again?

I am not looking to debate anything.
You simply cannot state that a strategy is just 'wrong', because you don't agree with it...
You have your opinion on the matter and I have mine...
May have been old post, but I only just noticed it.

You make it sound like I am trying to convince you it is right, I tried to sya that I am not...
But being my opinion makes it right for me...
