Re: Poker Etiquette - Integrity
betting into the dry side pot with a hand that has excellent showdown value is completely fine.

Funny thing was he ended up sucking out amazingly, even to about 5th on the FT... Allin 25 hands in a row or something crazy like that... He just shoved blind every time, flipping (mostly) trash but managing them to hold up somehow...
Hehe.
I'm an awesome dealer.
To be fair, I made a thread a while ago about playing a drunk 888PLer at the Cas and destroying him with [4c 2c] and him not being happy about it. It was that guy. I did feel like I owed him a little.
Also, my understanding of checking down with an all-in is that betting is acceptable once a WINNING 5 card hand is made.
e.g. Straight on a non-flush, non-paired board. Flush on non-paired board. FH or better.
If you have the absolute nuts, why wouldn't you bet? Brett said it best, that's the way I operate in Tournies. There is no point being angry at a player if they bet into a dry side with a made hand. You've probably seen more of the hand played out than you would've otherwise.

Re: Poker Etiquette - Integrity
There are two types of people in the world
Those that bet into dry side pots with the nuts
And those who complain that someone is betting into a dry side pot, mainly because they completely missed.
Ok there's more people but I don't care.
