I heard rumours (from a year 9 kid in my PE class) that Liverpool were going to use their Alonso money to buy David Villa? Now that would be an awesome strike force having Torres, Villa and Gerard as your attacking 3. Can anyone confirm those rumours?

real madrid and barca have both made huge offers for him but he is loyal to valencia and turned them down
why would he say no to the worlds best team (barca) for liverpool

yea he wont be leaving valencia, i really admire his loyalty to his club cos its such a rarity in football for a player to turn down huge offers from bigger clubs, but on the other hand, valencia are in huge financial crisis so to stay afloat they really need to be selling Villa and Silva for the huge amounts of money theyd be able to get for them

Should it magically happen it would be cos Valencia need the cash and Benitez is Spanish.
Villa + Torres is gun enough but have a rampaging Steven Gerrard just behind them and everyone else is toast!

i cant see Gerrard having a season like the last, hes similar to a lampard, quality but can be replaced when injured

Gerrard spent a lot of time on the injured list last season, as did Torres.
