Just giving you one example macca, calm your hormones.

<scratching head>

How is forking out $500 a cheaper buyin for a ticket that has an intrinsic value of $500?
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

888pl should be aiming to reward people who support the main component of their competition, in venue games, not freeloading off of it.

I would be extremely dissapointed if someone who didn't support the 888pl in really any major way won a lot of cash at the Grand Final.

(Im assuming here that anyone considering a direct buy in to the GF must have still played 10 away 888pl games for them to be eligible for this? I would be annoyed if this was not the case. I know they will be contributing their own money to the prizepool, but i would still like to see this event remain exclusively for people who regularly support the 888pl)

Agree 100% with this,

Yeah, agreement here also maccatak.
I have noticed the numbers at my usual weekly away game diminish as the season progressed and more people learned more about 888PL's online schedule. I cant think what exactly, but it could be some more 'fine tuning' is needed to keeps bums on seats in venues... Resuming the FTT tourneys would be one idea?

FTT tournaments did absolutely nothing in motivating players.
