except for me at the kingsford the other night.

i rocked up late, and was 9th reserve!!!! man they have had an explosion of players there lately.

anyway, i got in 2 hands before the first break.
from that point on until nearly second break, i basically made enough to cover the blinds, but not much more.

so i get dealt AA on the button.
BB raises to 1500, and #3 calls. i am thinking SWEET. i go over the top with my 3K, and they both call.

they turn over KK and 1010.

i was loving this, but still nervous. and sure enough, a K came out to send me packing.

not much of a bat beat really, but still really got to me because i had waited so long to get in, and i would have had around 11K after this pot - i usually do ok when i get some chips to throw around.

but alas, i was out after only playing about 25 minutes

If this is all pre-flop, i assume you meant UTG raised to 1500?

sorry my bad. it was UTG.
no luck for me at all this season. finished 14th 3 times, bubble twice and a 17th. in each case, its just 1 hand that goes against me, which stops me from making FT.

oh well, my luck is bound to change soon
