Good Afternoon All,
I'm after expressions of interest in this tournament format.
Teams of eight.
Open to 30 Teams Max.
BIG DAY OF POKER WITH TWO TOURNAMENTS TO BE RUN THAT DAY.
Points based: Based on max amount of runners (240)
1 point for first out - 240 points for winner.
Each team has a secret joker who earns double points.
Team with the most points win the tourney.
Trophies to the winning team and gloating rights.
Winning team will then play a S'N'G with the winner of that gaining entry into the $150,000 Victorian Championships with airfares and accommodation paid for.

Just need to know who's interested and if everyone is happy with the structure or has any different ides that we can explore.
But at the moment I have my heart set on making this happen.
If we set a tentative date of the second of Feb would that be cool?
I am going to make it that teams must be posted on this forum. And that it is only open to the first 26 teams to be post.
I will need:
TEAM NAME
FULL NAMES OF ALL MEMBERS and MEMBERSHIP NUMBERS
Do not post the joker for your team that would be stupid and will not be required until the day.

So who's in?

TD's that are reading this forum you do not get to post teams on here. Teams will be decided by me and also by the number of people referred on to this forum by tournament staff.

Prizes if a staff member wins will be something else

I'm happy to play, but given the prestige on the line will let the better players through, and then if us non-TD's/mere mortals need any places in our teams filled, I'll put my hand up :D
