Sarcasm doesn't translate well into text.

Most of my emails and phone conversations with software developers or 888 has been anything but nicely worded.

I also expect to maintain the same service levels that we have previously offered players and right now we are not keeping up to those standards, whilst I do have very little control over the aspects we are discussing, everything 888PL is my responsibility and I do not take lightly to letting our players down in any way, shape or form, irrespective of who is responsible.

Still waiting on a response from 888. I should have one shortly but I would say the reoccurrence has ceased for these games and will need to be recycled.

I would expect everything to be fine by tomorrow but we will wait and see.

So current problems in last week are:

1.) $2 Race to Grand Final Tourney not up in time.
2.) 888PL Grand Final Rebuy tournaments not ceased in time.
3.) Friday night 11.30pm Foundation game; cap reduced to 150 in last week of season.
4.) Email distributed to players in regards to secret frenzy, email contained wrong details no password and should not have been distributed to players.
5.) 6 players that I am aware of could not register for this tournament.
6.) Several games now missing from lobby on first day of new season.


Wow that's a good list. Anything else I need to add before I send one of my nicely worded emails to all parties involved?

dont forget the half time football package either Garth, where some of us were informed we had qualified but was not autogegistered.

I also had the same problem trying to register for the secret frenzy, not that i was all that bothered.

People are let down, and that sucks.


But if someone is a loyal 888PL player and supporter, taking this brand new idea of an offline/online poker league with a grain of salt when it comes to issues is important.

It's not perfect at the moment, but as a player I would implore everyone to understand that Garth and co. are doing everything in their power to make this work. There are copious issues that the regular punters don't even hear about that get cleared up with minimal fuss, before anyone finds out.

I have the utmost faith in the 888PL Management to make sure we as players get the best deals and service possible. If there are hiccups along the way, well - it's not the end of the world...

..and definitely not a reason to not play 888PL.

some people just need to moan and whinge about everything, and probably have no idea what goes on behind the scenes....
