Favourite would have to be Phil Ivey, and Tony G makes me embarassed to be Australian, he is such a loudmouth, it suprises me someone hasn't knocked him out with one punch at a poker table yet, and Phil Ivey what more can I say, was watching a video of him last week and he flops trips, turns a full house and rivers quads and still gets his opponent to pay him off, and unlike Phil Hellmuth, he doesn't have a hissy fit when someone calls with worse cards and beats him.

durrr is the doyle brunson of the internet age

Durrr is a brilliant player, but Doyle Brunson he is not.

His attitude towards other players and the game is general is the reason I don't like him. Just that roll of the eyes whenever he loses a pot to anyone else. That superiority complex of his is staggering.

I remember watching one hand in the high stakes cash game at the Aussie millions this year. He played 10 2o out of position against an Aussie player (Jamie Pickering maybe?) who had AK. Pickering flops top/top, Durr bottom pair. He proceeds to try to take the pot away from Jamie. He gives up after the turn and checks. Pickering checks and takes the pot, he was questioning Durrr the whole way, saying he heard how hard it was to put a range on him and how he'd wished he's watched him online previously. Pretty complementary.

He finished it by saying that he would've had to call any bet on the river as he was stack committed and couldn't put Durrr on a range. This brought a massive roll of the eyes and a shake of the head from him. You could just see what he was thinking. "If only you were as good as me, I could've made you fold."

The fact that he actually is better than most is irrelavant for me. I want to knock him out everytime time I see that lack of respect he shows the other players. It reminds me of someone stuck in high school. I don't know about what he was like when he was younger, but somehow I don't see Doyle acting like that.
