Yes all games are the same.

Think of these as a venue that has commenced live games halfway through a season.

Also are leaderboards for these events based on every day of the week or just a specific day. Will there be 5 qualifiers from AKs big hair rebuy on Tuesdays as well as 5 from every other day?

Jeez, if every qualifyer turns up to the next 25K semi-final, its gonna be HUGE!
Does qualifying through a Challenge series also qualify you for the 25K semi-final as well as the 15K?

Nope. Foundation games = gets you into the Foundation $25k semi final. Challenge games = gets you into the $15k Challenge semi final.

They're called semi finals because top 3 from each gets you into the $100k Grand Final.

Just thinking of that, seems odd that the free events have a bigger prizepool semi-final than the buyin challenge events...

That would be purely number based

a lot more people playing the free roll games at a lot more venues that are paying for 888pl to run a game.

less venues and less people playing CBI = less money
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

i think as a proportion of players likely to play, it would still be higher.

less challenge games than there foundation events by a fair margin

1) I am unsure whether or not I have ever received 'bonus points' for depositing and/or playing on the 888PL site..........
However, I do a FPP status of 108.158.
I do not believe I have ever got a welcome bonus (of 100%) with 25% up front!
I have deposited $$ more than once :-(
Do I need to look elsewhere for it on 888PL? I have only been checking 'my bonuses'.
I have played both 888PL games and others

2) Furthermore, after I first signed up for 888 at the last finals, I eagerly went home and deposited $$ & played many times....... (pre 888PL games launch)
I received an e-mail to say that I had qualified for a 'first depositors freeroll'. When I tried to register for the said tournament, a message appeared saying I was ineligible to register!!

Hope this all makes sense........... because there are two very separate issues.

btw - Great game today mate!!
When will my 888PL account be credited for knocking you out??

Cheers Carmel

1.) I would suggest that you take up the deposit bonus with 888, if you go to cashier and click on the deposit option you will find their is a button to the left for live help. Ask them about your bonuses and why you haven't received them. If you don't get the answers you want then send me an email and I will forward it on to 888 Head Office.

2.) I would suggest you do the same for your freeroll question, have your email open so you can refer to that.

Have you got your $50 yet for eliminating me?

Hi Garth

I know this thread hasn't been used for a while, but I was looking for an answer to a couple of questions and found the above question similar.

Also, apologies in advance if these questions have been answered somewhere, I havn't played NPL for years so it's taking a little time to adjust to the new formats, but it seems alot better.

1. I wanted to know if it's possible to do anything about not receiving my bonus after talking to the 888 people using live help.

I've deposited 3 times after downloading the 888 software, spoke to live help the first time about not receiving the 100% bonus and 25% instant bonus who told me that because I had deposited on Pacific Poker before, I would not receive a bonus.

I have never deposited (I might have played freerolls in the past) on Pacific and am 100% sure as I only ever played for real money on Absolute and Stars.

If anything can be done I'd appreciate it.

2. 888PL Online Champs Main Event Satellites

Just wondering if we receive points for them, as I just qualified in the first one (I think it was the first) and don't want to continue playing them (but points might affect the decision)

3. Dream Team

This might be explained somewhere but I cannot find it:

I know you need to play at least 10 away and 5 home games to be eligible. However, the site states that ranking are calculated on the average of your best 15 games. Does this mean that as long as you meet the eligibility requirements of 10 and 5 games respectively, the average can be calculated by using 15 online games (as they seem to give more points due to more runners).

Thanks
Nick

This one is a definite yes, Dream Team is calculated by your best 15 games, live or online. Because of the nature of the online games, your best 15 will all be online games.
