I dont want to alarm you. But there may be slight differences between you and Phil Ivey. Subtle as they may be.

I'd reshove to remove the SB/BB (hoping they have nothing)... if you lose, you have 1750 behind, which isn't much but still more than these guys. It's not likely that both will stay in, and if they do, the UTG+1 will only have 930, so you are just reversing spots, and you have position still to see a few more hand than them...

But winning puts you in a great spot, almost chip lead.

You are betting 1450 to win 4335, 3:1... I'd take that, considering both short stacks are probably pushing with any ace, or 2 paint, or suited connectors.. I'd be hoping that they've got the same hand, minimizing your outs.

Plus, if the SS is knocked out, then you are equal 5th in chips then... then you have to win a hand, and you will be first of the short stacks to get blinded away....
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

Fold both.

22 is way too specualtive for the first hand of the tourney, especially OOP.

77 is an easy fold in that situation.

Thanks for the comments ppl.

I did fold both hands. Both hands would have made quads.

I knew I did the right thing but the outcome shook my faith a little.

Thanks again

Funny you should say that Brett. My mouse actually did go flying with the 7s.

Lucky the window was open and it bounced harmlessly off the flyscreen onto the futon.

Wireless mouse FTW.

I would have called and made quads.

I dont have that much awesome.

Throwing a mouse at a Live tournament would look a little weird.

Depends on where you play I suppose.

The 7s were online.

The 2s were live.
