WTF?
Please review.
I don't understand that, and as far as I am aware I have ruled your pub poker world since you stepped in and sat down at your first game; which would have been the Kingsford of Old Spot.

As in, when you weren't around as often on the forums. For a while there we had Annabel interacting with the forums - which sucked, cos she wasn't as awesome as you at answering questions/interacting with customers.

Re: On line cash came leaderboards
to be honest garth, scoffing at people's ignorance, when it is well intentioned and not just lazy, is pretty poor form.
the political problems are yours, and cannot be used as an excuse.
if you launched a new leage to break away from the NPL, then why didn't you get a new database then? tell me im ignorant if you wish, but i would have thought you would have forseen a problem in that area.
dont tell people they are ignorant when is poor management on FHG's part in not getting this right before starting a new league.

Re: On line cash came leaderboards
Hi benny the cunt,
I suggest you re read my post.
I did not scoff at any individuals ignorance, I scoffed at the ignorance implied by a comment made. I am sure if I was to discuss something of an engineering nature with you there would be a fair lack of knowledge on my behalf compared to yours; this is not a negative thing.
Scoff is probably the wrong word to use in that situation as then is no scorn on my behalf nor am I looking to deride the OP's opinion. If I can think of a better word then I will edit the post. But rather I understand the lack of comprehension players have in many of the areas that are the 888PL competition and the work that goes into it.
As I said in my post; I am sure that many players just don't care for any of the reasons or excuses when it comes to why something isn't getting done. But many players, like yourself, also like to be kept informed of many of the smaller details.I don't have to impart this information but I like to, especially on this forum. If you wish I will no longer elaborate on reasonings behind any change, updates, etc...
To be honest we have licensed the use of software and IP from Sydney till the end of this year. Database was working fine with online results in season 1 but noone foresaw issues with Season 2 roll over. Yes I can predict where we will have issues in the future, but high level business associations and relationships I have very little control over. I can assure you that I have spent three months on a new project that should eliminate all of the problems we have with anything IT or website related.
Why do people consider being labelled as ignorant as a negative aspect of character? I myself are completely aware that I am ignorant on many, many issues and fields. And I stress I didn't call anyone ignorant, just the statement, and yes there is a difference.
Also poor management on our behalf? We did everything we possibly could to get this right in a very short time frame, and I am sure that some of the operational group would take real offence to that comment. We paid well above premium price for IT support and software licensing for three months to ensure that we would have the full support we required during the re brand and launch of 888PL, now we have a breach of these conditions that results in a negative consumer experience. Many other corporate entities experience the same dilemnas on a weekly/daily basis which often results in legal action.

Re: On line cash came leaderboards
fair enough garth, i just took particular issue to you "scoffing at someone's ignorance"
it was probably a poor choice of words on your part
i cannot see how you havent derided this person's opinion.
fair enough, im sure there are legitimate reasons.
