How about we change the redraw card system?

Should you be chipped up to $2000 if you have less than that when your card is redrawn?

Wow, people pocketting chips so they can rebuy????? Where and or what are the other Punters doing if this is happening????

Bad Beat tables and redraws are always going to be a bone of contension amongst the Punters.

It allows a Donky or a Bad Beat Punter the opportunity to come back into a tourney up to four times!!!!!

Mind you if it ever happened he or she would be either the luckiest or unluckiest Punter going!!!!!

Example

1. A Punter plays the initial game with $1,000 plus he uses the additional flight cards @ $1,000 each and gets knocked out.

2. The Punter gets lucky and is called back in via the first redraw with $1,500

3. Unfortunately, he loses again but he was lucky enough to make one of the Bad beat tables. He wins that, gets $2,000 and back into the tourney. :o wow that's some lucky punter

4. Unfortunately he lost again  But he manages to hit the jack pot and gets called back in via a "Second redraw" and another $2,000.

Will his luck hold out???
Can he make the final table???
Who knows as it's only a possibility and as yet I haven't witnessed such a miricle.
But it is possible isn't it????? :o

I'm not that good with % or odds. So, Brett/Garth what are the odds on that ever happening?

As far as Bad Beat tables and Redraws.......I'm not a lover of either. I think if your out your out. However thems the rules and I'll take it if I'm the benificiary, LOL.

I like the idea of being chipped up in the second draw if I was below the $2k.

It would have helped me last Wednesday and Thursday nites when I suffered some really bad beats on the river with donky callers.

Well there's my whinge for the day and me thinks I might go back to my old style of play LOL.

Bob, my only 3rd at PGCC was against the bad beat winner, and the 2nd redraw winner.

I beat everyone who stayed in the tourney!

I don't like the redraw at 2nd break.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

Ok, well I had a situation Wednesday night (the Willaston, Gawler, 58 runners total) when this actually would've helped. A friend of mine had 200 at the start of the final break (he had it for a while, he wasn't screwed on an all in or anything).

So along comes the redraw. A guess whose name is pulled out first? Yeah, my friend's. So instead of coming back in with 2000, he's left with 500.

He was out a few hands later.

The only simple remedy i think would be to chip up all players who are still in the game equal to the amount of the re-draw if they have less
SUPPORT VENUES THAT SUPPORT THE PUNTERS

Yep. I knocked him out in the first hour, and he went on to win the bad beats table. Comes back in, gets knocked out AGAIN, and proceeds to get drawn back in at the 2nd break.

Makes the final table, knocks me out(after i knocked him out 3 hours earlier!!) and goes on to win. Fantastic effort.
