lol, I love this forum, I started out by trying to give Pete a little advise to avoid a bad situation from occuring again, and all of a sudden I'm a sad little man with no life!!!!

yes, pete should have checked, but yes, 888 should have the correct details. something like a start time is pretty straightforward, not something you should have to check 100 times

I'd suggest the information given should be accurate and those people who have a life shouldn't have to drop everything to log in and check someone elses work If you have the time to sit on 888 everyday then good on you, but quite unrealistic to expect anyone else to do the same.

Excellent point here by Big Pete, if the 888 home page states the date and time as being Saturday 9:30am CST, then we should be able to trust that as being correct...Shouldn't have to think "Hang on lets just check someone hasn't messed it up"...Would it be a difficult task to have the events that are listed on the 888 home page linked to the Pacific poker site so a simple "one click" could verify if correct ?

I appreciate where Jo is coming from, but the fact is the information WAS checked, multiple times.

Nobody should have to even consider loading 888 software just to see if they've done their job properly.

It's completely fair and reasonable to expect the 888PL to be on top of that, it's their job after all.


Any word on an extra event being run? yes/no/maybe?
