And people wonder why I don't play online

Postby Caleb » Sun Nov 01, 2009 2:50 pm

.25/.50 PLO on 888. 6- Max

I limp with [9h 6h 6c 5c].
1 more limper.
SB makes it $2.50.
I call and other limper calls.

Flop:
[8h 7h 2c]

SB bets pot.
I re-raise pot. Mid folds.
SB pushes, I call.

[Turn]
[6d]

River
[2h]

Villain rolls [qc qs 2s 2d]

One outers do happen Caleb. I don't really see your complaint here.

His complaint is how can somone put all their chips in with bottom set on a board that is flushing and straightening.

Bad players putting themselves in the position to NEED one outers is my complaint.

No decent player would commit themselves on that flop after being re-raised pot with bottom set, no re-draw at all.

And as I say, this is a constant thing for me. I keep getting my money in well ahead of any range imaginable and yet I lose.

The one-outer itself, meh. I'm used to that. Bad play getting rewarded constantly just pisses me off.

Stealth edit: Yeah, what Trishan said. You don't do that in Omaha just because of the massive ranges you can have your opponents on.
