Lest We Forget....

Postby Swanky » Wed Nov 11, 2009 11:13 am

As everyone should know, today is Remembrance Day, the 11th Day of the 11th Month, where upon the 11th Hour we observe a minutes silence to remember all of the heroes that have fought bravely for our freedom. With far too many making the ultimate sacrifice. This is a small video clip I made a few years ago.

They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them

Been reading alot of first hand accounts from Australian soldiers serving in the various conflicts going back to the first world war.

I cant imagine what these people sacrificed to serve their country.

I am humbled to be part of a country that created such heros.

The Last Post always brings a tear to my eye.

Much respect
