Re: 888 Poker Software
Also if people customise their avatar I expect to see the right avatar. Some people wh0 have specific avatars show up as the matrix man which makes for boring viewing.

Need to be able to upload own pics, I'd remember people easier, rather than through specific notes..

Yeh picture avatars would be cool.

Re: 888 Poker Software
What about the software always disconnecting. I know people including myself have issues with this sometimes.

Re: 888 Poker Software
Thanks Guys.
So out of this whole thread I have the following:
1. Software Issues
a. A find a player/table function needs to be added to the lobby. Many players like the ability to search for their friends, or in my account players that I have tagged and labelled as weak.
b. An alert sound and auto pop up to notify players when it is their turn to act, particularly important when multi tabling.
c. Update Hand History records available from the table itself, hand replayer to be able to play past hands, not just previous hand.
d. Button to toggle chat on/off – similar to Dealer messages button.
e. Lobbies for rebuy tournaments to include a current count of rebuys/add-ons.
f. Update to graphics, myself and other players have made our own graphics mods.
g. Clean up of lobby to better display tournament types and buy in amounts. Post all tournaments under the one tab instead of separating them into disciplines.
h. Ability to add personal avatars for players
i. Increased resolution of graphics used on 888.
j. Ban player chat when a player is all in
k. Quicker updates on tournament lobby. Currently if I am playing in a tournament I need to close the tournament lobby and re open it to receive up to the minute accurate information.
l. Tournament structures to be updated to include antes
m. Default setting in for lobby for a player to able to choose their preferred seating position.
n. Introduce a correct Heads up Tournament structure with rounds rather than rebalancing tables and carrying through chip stacks
o. A late rego period for buy in tournaments.
p. Ability to tick an auto rebuy box in rebuy tournaments.
q. Time Bank button.
r. Ability to see mucked cards if hand reaches showdown at table, rather than proceed to Hand histories or replayer

Re: 888 Poker Software
Bit of a lengthy wishlist, but all of those would move 888 into a reputable poker site standing.

Yes but the way I see it.
We are the number 1 in venue poker provider in Australia (well southern states ATM) and we are partnered with the 8th best online site.
Things need to improve especially with all of the improvements we are making to our competition and back end.
So anyway, did I miss anything from the list?

Re: 888 Poker Software
pretty decent to me
graphics are at the bottom of that list imo, the functionality is where there is a big need for upgrading

That list looks like it has everything down, and if you've gone through the thread then you should have everything needed.

Not sure if it is what has been alluded to re: updated HH at the table, but I would like to see the addition of detailed hand info as the hand is playing out, just as Stars, Tilt etc do. Especially important when multi-tabling.
When a tournament begins and you are seated - the tournament lobby closes itself. Very annoying.
