Im guessing only the hardcore soccer fans stayed up for this, but it was a great wis by the aussies tonight.
Right back Rhys Williams was sent off in the twelfth minute and oman scored from the resulting penalty, but it was an excelent performance from the aussies. Craig Moore and Mark Schwarzer saved our arse numerous times, and to be honest, Oman deserved at least another goal, but we took our chances well with Luke Wilkshire and Brett Emerton latching onto excellent crosses to put goals home for Australia. We needed that win too, this will be the last Asian Cup Qualifier player on a FIFA date meaning our last games against Kuwait and Indonesia will be played with an A-League squad. We will probably need at least a win from those two games to be assured of qualification, but we are in the box seat now. Great game of football though, kudos to anyone who stayed up to watch it.

I would've but no coverage of this in London.
I saw the Brazil v England game, I reckon I'm a better player than Wes Brown.
