people have wars without religion. just look at africa for numerous examples.

people use religion as a banner to rally troops. but religion doesn't fight wars.

i mean the protestants and catholics in ireland fight all the time. AND THEY ARE PART OF ONE AND THE SAME RELIGION!!!

so surely its not religion's fault.

similarly with the rape of small children. you see that anywhere where people get easy access to small children. it happens in schools, sporting clubs, as well as churches. in my opinion, religion has nothing to do with it.

but, there was definitely a time that the universe didn't exist. that is scientifically proven.

the answer is because lemon trees evolved to make lemons. in evolutionary terms, they are very efficient and smart at what they do.

fruit evolved with a nice flavour because then birds will eat them, crap out the seeds and the tree will spread.

(on a side not, we kinda do make lemons, well at least we can genetically modify plants now)

Something can't just "evolve" into a lemon out of nothing. There must be a starting point.

Personally, I believe in both evolution and creation. There's no reason why they cannot co-exist as an explanation to where we are today. God intentionally created a world which will change over time.
