Re: Your Nemesis
Who is my nemesis? Can I say myself? It doesn't really fit into the true definition of "nemesis" but I am my own worst enemy when it comes to poker!

It's all that min-raising that gets you in strife

If you're going to slow play you have to at LEAST have put your opponent on a range of hands.

Re: Your Nemesis
yeah i have both times, and i was massively in front both times. one time i had him on nothing, and i was right - A high, with 7 of spades that he used to make a flush.
second time, the board was QQ junk junk 10. i hid an ace high flush on the turn, and had him with a Q or maybe pockets. turns out he had 1010, so full house on the river.
just should have bet harder on both occasions and taken a little less money. but i think that they are both pretty bad luck.

Re: Your Nemesis
My Nemesis after a Bad Beat loss would have to be Pocket A's...
First hand on the table I get delt them and do all in, as most people would do when its all in to call someone else going all in...
I ended up losing to A K when the flop was K K 6...turn and river didnt help anyone including me so i didnt pay attention what cards they were

U ask for my ID or say I'm underage and I'll take your chips when we meet at the poker table
Hate people calling high bets with Mid Pair...specially when im trying to bluff, gonna go emo soon n kill myself.

That's harsh man. I have to admit I did laugh when I heard about it, though. Only cos Brett finally got one up on you.
Nice sig, by the way

Re: Your Nemesis
I reckon Paul Sparkes would have to be my nemesis - of all players he is the one I recall my hands against the most.
Most two memorable...
First tourney I rocked up to we got to heads up, and I was lucky enough to get the win - and he ended up winning later that night at roulettes (not bad for him - first 2 tournaments played, with a 1st and 2nd).
Then there was the time I had pocket Aces on the first hand, and raised his bet hard before the flop. He called, and the flop came out with a couple of clubs. He bet, I raised hard, he called. Next card, another club. At this stage I knew I was done, especially when he went all in - but with so much in the pot and only 500 left I had to call on the off chance it was a steal. Unfortunately not...
I suppose we've had a few go either way, so maybe not so much a nemesis as an interesting clash of Poker minds...
