i realised the one thing i haven't done is a factory default settings. maybe some setting randomly changed, although i didn't touch it at all. weird.

I had a problem with mine, found many had similar issue with their NetComm modems on whirlpool, downloaded firmware update from their link then re-installed that.

Had to re-enter my password & user id on the 127.1 etc etc thing in explorer.

lots of threads about it, but they all seem to have differing solutions in the replies.

i think i will download the latest firmware, and then do a factory reset and see what happens. otherwise i will just ring up adam and bitch

seriously, i put up with it for about 2 months before getting the firmware update, and it took like 15 mins to fix, and no issues.

some sort of authentication issue, seems to be resolved now. think i forgot the "@adam.com.au" off the end of my username when i reset the router the first time.

but that still doesn't exmplain why it died in the first place, and didn't work for around 2 hours

oh well, all good now
