i agree, xp was by far windows' best OS, and its not even close.
i also have W7 installed, and to be honest, i am loving it. they have basically kept all the good bits of both vista and xp as far as i can tell.

got office enterprise through work for $28, but i think you can get it via the uni thing for $70.
