LOL wow @ the almighty comment, you just dont like someone disagreeing with you

benny the cunt, im sure you are a nice bloke, but lets try to have a discussion, without arguing or name calling?

im not wrong about david hussey, he misses 7 games if he plays the IPL and his county have already said they will have to have discussions with him. i would say that they end up re-writing his contract (county)

warnes country contract is different and he had it written into his contract that he can play IPL

but you were mis-informed, even if he doesnt go to pakistan, cricket australia already said that he will not be cleared to play IPL during that time

in fact any australian playing IPL is still under a cloud as cricket australia have not given permission yet.. except for gilchrist, warne, langer and mcgrath

Because the IPL is ICC sanctioned, im pretty sure that they can play, except if they are playing for australia (on their tour of pakistan). ICL is a big no-no and they will be banned from playing for australia, just like Chris Cairns, and a lot of pakistanis have been

From Crikinfo

Since the IPL is sanctioned by the ICC, players don't have the danger of bringing their international/first-class careers to a halt - as is the case with the ICL - whose players have been banned by the various boards

yes thats true, but australia are on tour at the time which is the dark area

i think theres going to be a lot of back and forth between the players, cricket australia and the ICC before this is all settled.

I'm not much of a cricket fan, but 20/20 is pretty exciting, so I'm all for this. I really like the bidding idea - not so much the money (totally overboard, I think), but the fact that a team is entirely filled with A grade players (by their choice) is interesting, should make for some great matches.
