How lucky are we to have Brett Kay who seems to have no boundaries in being able to help anyone with a problem.

I believe he is correct regarding the auto updating as I never changed mine and the chat section is running as it was before Xmas with out any problems.

Here's how stupid this entire thread is.

Someone asks others how to fix the problem in completely the wrong place (good guy)
Others point out the right place to go and fix the problem (bad guys)
The original someone acts upon said advice, then complains that those who helped are negative and whingy (hero)
The helpful others are confused about WTF has even happened in this entire thread, and how it got so stupid (bad guys)
Other stupid people join original person to celerbrate that they have solved their problem (good guys)
Others still wonder why the hell this thread is even going (bad guys).

I just found these two threads. For the first time in two weeks I am glad that I have been too busy to do anything but concentrate on the website and the software roll out.

I am utterly astounded that so much bs can arise from one post.

I would like to remind all that as players we respect and help one another. We do not degrade or make fun of each other.

Bob, I am sorry but in some cases you are well out of line here. Ben actually did direct you in the same manner I would have. A complaint of this nature needs to be made directly to 888 support via players. I would have added that at this time I am already dealing with 888 on several serious issues and your request would have sat at the bottom of my priority list.

At no time did any of the forum posters derided on denegrate your request nor did they state it was a stupid request. And to make the above comments is downright disrespectful.

Giz and Harps,

I would strongly suggest that you get to know some of the guys on this forum before casting dispersions. The Murrin boys have done plenty for this league (including creating this forum) and are very friendly gentleman and always have the best interests of the leagues and our players at heart. benny the cunt and Aaron are also senior participants and do know what they are talking about when it comes to all things poker.

All in all I believe there has been some miscommunication and misinterpretation of posts and comments. And before any bad words start getting bandied about I strongly suggest everyone takes a deep breath.

And Giz, 888 is our partner company. Not an affiliate. And yes you are right, 888PL does account for a large chunk of their Australian poker market, but out of 888's poker business Australia accounts for about 5% of their liquidity. And out of 888's entire business poker accounts for about 6% of 888's revenue.

You will understand in March why so many changes are taking place and why the delay in following up with player support/queries.

I also suggest that Ben, Scott and the boys did suggest a way of fixing your problem (without whinging) and it seems that it has worked?
