So... where in Hobart is a good place (decent looking/feeling) to play that gets decent numbers. I'll be popping in for a short visit from the 3rd to the 7th and will no doubt want to check out how things are run in Tassie.

NPL in Tassie?
Sure... I could go and check out the NPL page for some detail and no doubt will, but thought I'd try and drum up a bit of activity here in this heavily used section of the forums
I also can't get there during work hours... stupid references to 'gambling'.

That's a given, Steve. Ondie already knows the whereabouts of every bar in every state in Australia.

Re: NPL in Tassie?
Georgetown RSL and 888 PL have decided to run regional finals every month. There will be $700 in cash prizes and only qualified players will be able to compete. The winner will have the chioce of taking cash or a direct seat into the $100,000 888 PL Grand Final. This is a great opportunity and very rare, as no other venues offer a prize of this magnitude. To qualify for this event players must play at least 4 events each month and be on the top 4 at any event or in the top 20 on the joint(all days) Georgetown RSL leaderboard . This is only for regular Georgetown RSL players and we would like to thank Ian for supporting the local players and giving them this opportunity. This first final will be held on Saturday 1st of August at 3pm. will will aim to hold the finals on the first Saturady of every month.
