the team i played for got smashed,

bowled out for 81 chasing 209. i made 20 at #8 scoring 2 6's & 2 4's, no need to run.

But our b's beat des' North Haven quite comfortably only losing 3 wickets chasing 115 odd.

yep, just remember as well, your A's are only in Sect 1 cause we nominated our A's to go down to sect 2. ,

crappy day today. we made 153 from our 40 overs, i didn't bat. prolly 20 runs short really. our openers put on 98, but it just took them too long to make them.

i opened the bowling, first 3 overs went for 14, my next 5 overs went for 6! so 8 overs 3 maidens for 21 isn't too bad. wicketless though, missed the outside edge too many bloody times to count.

they made the runs with about 2 overs to spare.

only 2 games away now until my 150th for the club.

we had a win on the weekend, only second one for the year!

had a good start with the bat, we were 1-73 after 19 overs, looking to push towards a score of 160-180, then we lost 9 wickets in 15 overs to get rolled for 131. they were bowling pies as well, we just played horrible shots to get out.

but then we had an awesome bowling performance and ran through them like a hot curry, bowled them out for 73 in 26 overs!

i opened the bowling again, took 2-23 from 5, took a bit of stick in one of my overs, but got both the openers, so all in all i was happy. one of the young 16 yr olds in our team took a triple wicket maiden, wickets from the first, second and 5th balls, all bowled. unlucky to not get his hat trick.

the younger brother junior burger made a good comback in his first game for freeling, 4 overs, 3 maidens, 1 for 1.

still doesn't lift us off the bottom though, because the second to bottom team also had a win
