Grand Final Weekend

Hey guys and gals!

So seeing as i only won a seat for this exciting weekend. I was wondering if people from Sa had some suggestions for me as to where I should stay, somewhere nice, reasonably cheap, close to adelaide cbd and the venue, and not a backpackers because i plan on bringing my girl with me!

Damn, I only just saw this, I was going to say Aaron's house!
If you only want somewhere to put your head down for a few nights, I stayed in a cheap hotel on Hindley st. while the cricket was on. It was $40 a night and very basic. But it did what we needed.
Trouble is I forget what it was called. It's across the road from the police station. I'll try and find out what it was called for you.

we stayed on the breakfree on hindley

it was pretty cheap, but i can say that it was neat and tidy

Try Millers on Hindley. Dunno how cheap they are, just they are sponsors of my soccer club.

I did a bit of a search and I'm sure this is the one.

City Central Motel, 23 Hindley St Adelaide SA 5000 - (08) 8231 4049

It's right next door to a pub called "The Little Pub Off Hindley" or words to that effect and if you blink you'll miss the Motel. It's just a door way that's almost hidden. A nice old couple run it and as long as you're quite and don't raise hell, they treat you real good.

Oh and the showers had the best pressure of any shower I have ever been in. Was like standing on the bottom of Niagra Falls. Oh and here's a hot tip for you, the hot tap is on the RIGHT hand side.
My first morning I had a cold shower 'cause I thought they had run out of hot water, 'cause there weren't any labels on the taps!
