I have only really started playing poker in 2009, my husband plays and he encouraged me to come and start playing with him. It has been a great year poker wise for me

Mainly play heads up or cheap short handed tournaments for fun! Do like to play different satellites for the big events. I had an $1100 seat into the 2009 Melbourne Champs Main event (my husband won x 2 of these, so I got one) and I finished 150/about 850. Also I have recently won an $1100 seat into the 2010 Aussie Millions Event 1 (hope that will be the best $5 I have ever spent!!). Just missed a '09 Poker News Cup Main Event Seat by 1

UTG flats.
UTG+1, who well herein be referred to as My Lucky Day, raises to $2.
I raise to $6.60, Lucky calls, UTG folds.

[5s] turn, wee.

I check.
Lucky bets $7 (I think), I call.
Pot is $25.

River [Th], so that's [5h] [4s] [6s] [5s] [Th].

I check.
Lucky bets $9.60, with $15 behind.
I shove all in for $44.
He tanks down to 3 seconds on his timer and calls me, creating a $94 pot.

turns out i sat next to an absolute maniac that had like 90 in front of him.

so 10 minutes later, i have turned 50 into 198
