ALWAY....... ALWAYS raise with Aces! You did get very lucky then.
How did you end up in the tourney? Nice big fat payout?

THIS! Better to win a small pot with Aces then lose a big one. Flatting from EP with AA just makes the latter one more likely.
Riskers gamble, experts calculate.

Re: can you please look at this for me
even if you don't want to raise pot there with the antes in play, at least a 2.5x or 3x is warranted. You're perhaps even more likely to induce the shove you're so clearly after than if you just flat. I'm very sus of EP flats that late in a tourney - they just look so sus.
If I pop you with AK/KK/QQ from LP there, and you shove over me, I can lay it down, but if you raise pot, 3x or maybe even 2.5x I'm far more likely to put you on TT/JJ/QQ/KK/AK. Flatting is just asking for trouble and rarely gets paid and you're likely to send yourself broke if something goes wrong.

Re: can you please look at this for me
maybe i should do it more, but i dont think i have ever limped aces from any position except in rare circumstances, the small blind.
it just tilts me too much when someone flops 2 pair with rags like what happened here.

Re: can you please look at this for me
I kinda like to play AA fairly soft maybe a 1.5 to 2.5 preflop depending on my position, but I also like to leave myself some room to get out of the hand it it turns ugly, why because at the end of the day they are only a pair, abit top pair.
Why it all came about because when playing at the Ark when they had 10 GF seat up for grabs last season, in the 1st session I had pocket A's in consecetive hands bet hard and lost my entire stack both time to AK and KK, fortunate for me I still had both passports but going into the 1st break I had around 900 chips left, I ended finishing 15th out of almost 300 runners missing a seat by a few spots, this taught me not to overate AA, from that day on unless I have a 2 or 3 to 1 chip lead then I might hammer the pot.
