That could become a very expensive ticket

Have to agree with that! I had my spare ticket for sale originally for $250 + 10%, but got to thinking on it. I won 2 tickets in $10 rebuys that cost me a total of $110, plus got the extra one from the Semi (bonus basically for free), so essentially 3 x $500 tickets for $110. I am using 2 of them (this GF + next GF) so should be happy with that. I for one would feel a little funny taking another $3000 (let alone $6000) off of someone (if they win) who has already paid me $250 for the privelidge of playing the event!! They are the ones who have earned that...
I know deals are part and parcel, but when you sit back and think about it, why be greedy? You should be happy that you were able to help someone else out and still ahead of the game anyway!!
Anyway, good luck to all competing at the GF on the weekend, win, cash or lose, you are all in for a fantastic poker experience!!!

If you only have 1 ticket and can't play, the 888pl guys have said that you still have a chance to transfer it to the next GF (under the right circumstances). So you hold a ticket that RETAILS for $500. Generally, this means if you are selling on the side (i.e. not direct from the issuer), it is worth alot less. So let's say it is worth $400. For $150 discount, they are willing to give you an extra $6000 on top if they win!!
Kinda similar to betting $6000 on a horse to win an extra $150, from their point of view when you think about it!!!!!

I absolutely agree with you mate, if that was an option that i had.
Unfortunatley i was not given that option, I actually had pre aranged to roll my ticket over on the day of winning it, as i imidediatley knew i would not be avalible to play, and initially that was fine by 888pl.
Unfortunatley within a week the goal posts changed and i was informed that i could only roll over a ticket if i had 2 and still played 1 of them.
I have been through the options and the only 1 left for me was too sell it.
in a perfect world i would love to think we could get nearly 100% value on the ticket when we sell it ( ie 400 + ) but i can tell you thats just not what the punters have in mind, it seems the actuall value of the tickets is more around 200-300.
Because of this i say if your lucky enough to have a slice of a player that runs deep and you get a bonus, then great because you wont get the true value of the ticket any other way.
