Rutgers rolls on
Finding the action on the river the board reads [Th 5s Qc 6c 2d]
Scott Baker fires out a 1500 bet and after some deliberation is called by Kurt Rutgers. Scott rolls over [As Jc] while Kurt puts over [Qh 4h] to take the pot with his pair of queens.
Wasilejko Walks
Peter Wasilejko from Tasmania has the dubious honour of being our first player eliminated from the 888pl Grand Final. His [Ac 5c] was no good against his opponents [8x 8x]. He still had a ton of outs on the river with any Ace any 2 or any club to make his hand good. However the poker gods were not forthcoming.
Table 14
Two eliminations have occurred at table 14 however they are not being helpful in getting any attention to reveal the hand. Garth on the microphone today was heard to say " I like table 7 because they are nice and helpful. Table 14 though is still the worst because their not". Good time here.
Bounty Event
Remember Ladies and Gents, the bounty event is on today. $25 buy in with every bounty Scalp worth $50. Last Grand final this event went down an absolute treat. I should know i was running it. Can Gary Nicholson (CEO of Full House Group) keep the crown of Last Bounty Standing.

Redemption for Table 14
A timid shout of All in and Call emerges from Table 14. Have they turned over a new leaf.
We rush to the table, only to find that the two players involved in a split pot.
Disappointment, but also a start of things to come.

Xtal Exits
With all the chips in the middle the board reads [As Kd 6s 5s Ad]
Crystal Rose Reveals the [ks qs] for two pair and busted flush draw. Sarah Catterwell rolls over [Ah kc] for the nut full house.
Tales from the Felt
Sarah Catterwell sister Bec recently took down the ANZPT Ladies Event in Adelaide. So looks like both these sisters know how to play. Can one add and 888pl Grand Final Win, or even a final table berth? Stay tuned.

Fisher finds his card
Resuming on the action with Brendon Fisher all in on the board reading [4s 7h 7s 5s] Tim Brown makes the call to knock out the short stack. Fisher shows the [5d 7d] for the nut full house vs Browns [ac 7c]. Drawing thing Brown gets a full house with the river [4h] but not enough to beat Fisher. Fisher doubles through to about 9.1k
JMack is Jolly
Nicole DiLaveris makes the call of Jo McDonalds bet. The board [2s kh qd as ks] Jo shows down the [ac ah] to make the full house which is enough to beat Nicoles [ad qh].
Tales from the felt.
Nicole Dilaveris was our inaugural champion of our first 888pl Grand Final. Her boyfriend bought her across after he had won his seat in one of the many satellites. Nicole won her seat in the Friday Night Frenzy, for her boyfriend it wasn't a repeat but he is in the field today.
Jo "Jmack007" McDonald is one of our bigger online volume players. He took down last seasons dream team leaderboard taking home $5000 and also membership into our Dream Team. Expect to see a lot more from him as he is on the main table with approximately 33k and Jeff Fenech.

Haylee Holds
The hand was reported to me as Haylee Allen holding pockets 7's. The money went all in on the flop where her opponent had aces, however Haylee had setted up her pair. The aces were drawing thing and missed the two outs needed to take out Haylee.
Tales from the Felt
Haylee was one of our State of Origin participants, she put in a fair fight, but missed out on the win for SA, and came 2nd to Tane Quarell.
The local crowd was definitely supportive. But the first Grand final of 2011 is going to Victoria.
Patrick Paddies his Stack
On a board reading [jc 10c 6c 9c 2d] Patrick Dillon fires out a 6k bet into the 9.5k pot. Jo McDonald was left in the hand, and calls. Showing the [Ac Jh] for the nut flush.
Patrick however rolls over the [7c 8c] for a 6 card straight flush which is awesome enough to take down the pot.
Tales from the felt
Patrick is our S2 2009 Victorian Foundation Semi Final Winner. Winning a seat into the Grand Final and also entry into the Dream team.

Feature Table Fun
With 5 people going to the flop [5d 9c 2s] by calling the Big Blind. Jason Richards fires a 200 bet, which is called by both Steven Lee, and Patrick Dillon.
Patrick Dillon leads out on the turn [js] for 700, Jason Richards is the lone caller. Both check the river card [2d]
At the showdown Jason shows the [As 5c] which was not good enough against Patricks [6c 6h]

Lark is Laughing
With the board reading [Ah Qh 10s Kh Ks] Lynette Matthews has Called the all in of Robert Lark. Lynette shows down the [Kd Jd] for the nut straight. However Robert Lark shows the [10h jh] for the nut hand.
A Royal Flush
the 27k pot gives Robert a nice healthy stack again after starting the hand at 13k.

Lunch Break
We are 5 minutes away from the lunch Break.
Just so you all know how awesome the food is. This could be one of the better Parma's outside of Vic.
See you all in 45 minutes.
