i have heard that is good, haven't watched it though.
if you like cmedy, then better off ted is a great show. very subtle jokes, and hilarious, which is unusual for an american sitcom.
if you like ultra violence and sex, then rome is a good drama as well

Few recommendations:
Moon.
Sam Rockwell shows a bigger range than I thought he had here. Interesting concept of isolation too, this one really made me think.
No Country for Old Men.
It was a long time coming, but I finally watched this. Deserved all the praise it got back in 07.
If you haven't watched either, do it.
