I like the pic with the snake (and the one that ate the dog too, that's a cool pic).

I like snakes (and dogs).

I really don't like cats.

I don't see the problem with it. It's just a picture.

I basically like all animals and am not a fan of seeing them in pain or dead.

But, i know that other people don't have a problem with it. So, how about we keep this thread in the lighthearted amusing way I intended it, and if others so desire they can start a "sick pictures I like" thread. Then I'll just exercise my free will and avoid it, and others can do the same. That way, everybody wins!

in the interests of nit picking, you're making the assumption the cat is dead or in pain. I don't see the heading as 'pictures I like provided someone doesn't complain'

firstly, laura, if you are offended by the snake eating the dog pic, i am sorry. i posted it because i though it was topical (in the news this week), since we were talking about animals, and also that i thought it was interesting. imagine finding a 5m snake in your backyard!!

but seriously, its a picture. same with you muzzington. i also thought that the snake dragging the cat was amazing. they are both not offensive or cruel to animals, just nature pics.

your right, probably not in the spirit of the thread, but still interesting.

I think that's a safe assumption to make. And you're right, i wasn't very specific in my subject title.

But to be clear, I didn't go out of my way to complain about the picture. I made a statement as to what I like and dislike and then suggested an alternative in response to the negativity that had been posted.

Honestly, I'm not that offended, I've looked at some bizarre and gross stuff in my time and enjoyed it. Somethings I just rather not see. And it was an interesting article, i saw that one. I basically went "woah, that's kinda freaky" and moved on!
