I kinda asked this in another thread, but it probably got lost in all the hoohaa,
So, since there is no individual semi finals for foundation and challenge anymore, what kinda of structure/format will the upcoming semi final have?
- Will it continue to be a one day event, of might it extend to a 2-day semi final?
- What kind of side events might be happening?
- Any broad dates being considered? (im assuming it will be at WAFC?)
Assuming there might be slightly higher runners in a combined semi, it might need to go for longer to avoid getting too turbo. Personally, a structure similar to the challenge semi last season would kick arse. (10k-15k start stack, 25 min steepish levels)
Format for the semi-finals.

I totally agree with you Macca. The bigger stack and blind levels gave some like myself that extra time to settle in rather than have an ALLIN Fest.
It would be nice knowing them within an acceptable time frame so as not to miss out due to making othe arrangements with family or the likes.

Re: Format for the semi-finals.
it won't be as deep as the grand final.
if you had 10k stacks, and played down to the cash, top 30 or whatever on day 1, then came back for day 2, that would be awesome.
