just saw the news item for the semi final
my first reaction was booo flights. but then i saw 10k start stack!!!!!!1
the levels are only 20 mins now instead of 25, but all in all i see it as a decent structure for flights.
does anyone wanna dig up last season's blind structure so we can compare?

Re: 888PL S1 2010 SEMI FINAL Discussion
the state top 50 used to be in the second flight also in order to equalise numbers. B&G players have been in both flights on occasions i believe depending on numbers.
Which flight will online qualifiers be in?

Re: 888PL S1 2010 SEMI FINAL Discussion
I reckon I'd like to be in the second flight, 'cause I'll probably come from Auburn.
But it's all good, I'll make what ever flight I need to make.
I would like to run deep in this one, really finish of my best season ever well.

Making the final table = great
Being unceremoniously dumped from said final table = not so great

Re: 888PL S1 2010 SEMI FINAL Discussion
Well, not that I am involved in this one, but i hope for those who are that you are informed which flight you will be in prior to registration on the day!
I think is bad enough some people having 5 1/2 hours to kill in between F1 and recombine, but also having people come in the morning only to be told 'you start in 6 hours'.... Bring a good book!
Hmmm the flights + only 1 day event seems odd to me.
I sure hope enough bust in each flight!
Also, arent those in F1 advantaged by the massive break they get? Be much fresher than those from F2 playing 8ish hours straight.
Although I could see some who would prefer to 'play it straight through'.
Is this the first season they aren't havin separate Foundation and Challenge Semi's? If so, be interesting to see if thats still the case next season.
Also, why has this change been made?
In the very 1st season, the Challenge Semi was more prize $ and better format than the Foundation, which personally, I think is only fair given you pay to get into the Challenge semi. ok you have probably been paid, with your prizemoney throughout the season (certainly I would think p1 & 2 from each challenge series would have profited from it?), but I still feel those who finish top5 in buyin leagues deserve a little more...
And you also had the opportunity (if you played enough) to qualify for both events...
